INTRODUCTION

Scientific researches devoted to the understanding of semantics and functionality of Eastern discourse in English literature, perhaps, were updated at the turn of XX-XXI centuries, as evidenced by dozens of different-level dissertations and publications in the post-Soviet space and Western Humanities.

It is noteworthy that most of them somehow affect the analysis of the works of Oscar Wilde, Eastern hints, which have become rich in material for reflection. Therefore, these works are consistent with modern directions of understanding of national categories, identical and mythological categories in which the trends of scientific renewal are noted. So far, Wilde is interested in the fact that it is not so accepted or ignored the traditional British mentality. In his work, scientists have only been able to determine the orientation and receptive paradigm of wildlife in the context of the English tradition.

The theme of our research is "collections of fairy tales by O. Wilde "The Happy Prince and other Stories" and "A House of Pomegrantes": translation strategy". The relevance of this work lies in the fact that from references to the children's genre in the literature, a representative of the new philosophy of England of the 19th century opens up a new idea and defines an atypical range of problems. Therefore, an important theoretical experience will be the analysis of his works and the strategy of translation of such works on the example of collections of fairy tales by Wilde.

The purpose of the course research is to describe and characterize the collections of Wilde's fairy tales because of the use of the main paradigms of the domestic translation strategy.

To achieve this goal, the following tasks were formed:

1. To analyze the peculiarities of Oscar Wilde's creative heritage;

2. To conduct a semantic analysis of the collection " The Happy Prince and other Stories";

3. To describe the problem in fairy tales "The Happy Prince and other Stories";

4. To indicate the characteristics of the writing of the book "A house of Pomegrantes";

5. To describe the idea and the circle of fairy tale characters in the collection "A House of Pomegrantes";

6. To analyze the principles of the translator’s work with O. Wilde’s writings.

The scientific basis of our research was the development of domestic and foreign translators and scientists on this issue. Among them: N. K. Garbovskiy, T. V.Cebu, I. V. Korunets, E. P. Kudlay, E. S. Kupriyanova, O.R. Kryuchkov, I. M. Lytvyn, T. V. Mikhed and others.

The object of the research is to analyze the key points of fairy tales collections by Oscar Wilde. The subject of the research is the coverage of the basic principles in the strategy of translation of these works.

The structure of the course work. The work consists of an introduction, three chapters, nine questions, conclusions and a list of references.

CONCLUSIONS

Based on the conducted research we consider the following conclusions to be the main:

1. Among the many features of Oscar Wilde’s work, the leading idea is the profound understanding of one's life and a certain mission in it, through which every hero passes through the writer’s works. In the problems of creative work, the love of beauty is clearly expressed, its fruits are sown and compared with the deity of everything that is in any way close to the beauty of the universe.

2. Oscar Wilde was characterized by a deep interest in the philosophy shared by many Western artists. Partly this became the root cause for the collection of "Happy Prince and Other Stories". After all, in these famous tales Wilde describes the concept of good and evil, truth and falsehood, love and hatred with a certain attraction to the "Eastern manners" of describing love, suffering and happiness.

3. The collection of fairy tales "Happy Prince and Other Stories" can be explored with the help of tools that focuses on Eastern poetry. This can be observed due to the fact that the English writer borrowed many open questions from the philosophy of Sufism, which is fundamental in this type of creativity. Through the study of the fairy tale "Happy Prince" is possible to point out the main open questions: How does beauty help rethink your being? What is the role of beauty in the existence of the immortality of the soul?

4. There are many folk wisdom used in the O. Wilde’s tales. "A House of Pomegrantes" became an organic continuation of the first collection, as the main idea is love for beauty, goodness and justice.

5. The main idea of the fairy tale collection "A House of Pomegrantes" is the twofold nature of love and beauty. When in one case, it becomes salvation, then in another it becomes a punishment. In one way or another these feelings were as confirmation of the truths of the morals of the contemporary society to each protagonist.

6. The translation process can be considered as a kind of transformation, that is, the translation of the text of one language into equivalent text in another language with the participation of the intermediary. Therefore, in the image of O. Wilde's work, an interpreter should remember the peculiarities of those ideas which the English writer put forward.
